☀️ Adventure Awaits
Greetings!
Seems like bad weather ⛈️ is again the story of the week!
We are in NC dealing with some property damage (we are blessed and this inconvenience is NOTHING like what people in the area are dealing with!) while our whole family from Tampa to Ocala to Orlando to Vero Beach and our home in New Smyrna Beach are in the path of Hurricane Milton 🌀
Prayers 🙏 to everyone in Florida, Georgia, and North Carolina!
There are so many charities assisting victims it is difficult to choose—but every dollar 💰️ counts. So pick one and help out today!
Embrace Your Best Life,

WELLNESS
Relaxing Bedtime Routine
Are your nights in retirement as restful as they should be? Many retirees find it challenging to establish a bedtime routine that helps them relax and sleep soundly. But with a few simple changes, you can transform your evenings into a time for winding down and enhancing your wellness.
-
The Importance of a Bedtime Routine: Sleep patterns change with age, but a consistent routine can improve sleep quality and overall health.
-
Create a Cozy Sleep Environment: A supportive mattress, dim lighting, and cool room temperature help signal your body that it’s time to rest.
-
Pre-Bedtime Relaxation Activities: Stretching, reading, and meditation are excellent ways to calm the mind and body before sleep.
-
Stick to a Sleep Schedule: Going to bed and waking up at the same time daily helps regulate your internal clock.
-
Eat Right for Better Sleep: Light snacks like almonds and chamomile tea support restful sleep. Avoid heavy meals and caffeine.
Crafting a relaxing bedtime routine in retirement is a simple yet powerful way to enhance your sleep and well-being. Prioritize comfort, consistency, and mindfulness, and you’ll wake up feeling rejuvenated and ready for each new day.

SIMPLI SHARI 🩷
I’ve always loved walking and hiking—on the beach or through the mountains. There’s something rejuvenating about feeling the sand beneath my feet or fresh mountain air on my face. As I’ve grown older, these walks have become even more meaningful.
When I’m out hiking, I often use a hiking stick to help with the terrain. It’s simple, but it makes a big difference in confidence and safety.
Staying active with walks and hikes keeps our bodies strong, our minds sharp, and our spirits high. Whether it’s a peaceful beach stroll or a rugged mountain hike, movement is key to enjoying life at every stage.
Embrace your best life,
🩷 Shari
