☀️ Vote!
Greetings!
Hope everyone is doing great!
Not sure if you are aware, but I think tomorrow is Election Day… we are voting for something? 🤣
In today’s incredibly divisive world, I try to stay out of the fray, mind my own business 🤐 and simply just cast my vote. So… Go Vote!
I am sure it will be a calm, relaxing week 🙄 but we will survive—we always do!
Take care!

-
Time for a Clean Sweep: Dive into your closets and say goodbye to old clothes that no longer spark joy. Donate what you can to make room for the new!
-
Medicine Makeover: Check your medicine cabinet! Discard expired medications and make sure you’re stocked up on essentials.
-
Fire Safety First: Don’t forget to change the batteries in your smoke detectors. It’s a quick task that could save lives!
-
Seasonal Serenity: Create a cozy atmosphere by refreshing your space. Rearranging furniture or adding seasonal decor can really transform your home.

p.s. Don’t forget to turn your microwave clock back 😆

CURT’S CORNER
Back to School!
“Honey are you ready?”
“Hold on sweety, I have to finish my homework and upload the assignment”
Never thought this conversation would happen at the ripe age of 62!
I’m often asked… “Why did you decide to get your Master’s Degree at 62?”
Well, the story starts a few years… um, decades… ago.
I grew up in Ohio and my two best options were a small school like Bowling Green or the big daddy, Ohio State. Of course, I chose [University of Akron]—home of the Zips (mascot is a kangaroo… don’t ask… I have no clue).
To say I didn’t really embrace the University, or alumni, or any memory of it, is an understatement. I can’t even remember the “why” I made this decision. 🍻
I decided that if one day the stars aligned, then I would love to rewrite my college story.
So, here I am… currently pursuing my [Master’s Degree at the University of Florida], and although most of the program is online, I am diving in and enjoying the experience.
It is never too late to write a new story! 🎓
Go Gators!
